The HELP Foundation proudly presents:
A free film screening of the Award Winning documentary: “A Whole Lott More” by Victor Buhler. See the movie trailer here
This is a very powerful film that you don’t want to miss!
About the film: For decades, Lott Industries has excelled at manufacturing small car parts. All 1,200 of Lott employees have developmental disabilities and despite competing with traditional non-disabled businesses, Lott has achieved the highest quality ratings. However, when the US auto industry crisis hits, Lott’s market is wiped out and management has 12 months to reinvent or close the company’s doors. The film follows the story of three unforgettable characters, bringing awareness to the employment issues for people with disabilities.
About the event: November of 2014 will mark HELP Foundation’s one year anniversary! Our goal is to help create employment opportunities for people with a variety of challenges right here in our community. We would like to present this amazing film and bring awareness to the mostly unnoticed and underrepresented issue of disability employment during our gala on November 13th.
When and Where: Our community screening of “A Whole Lott More” will take place on November 13, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael. For location and directions, please click here. This is a FREE event. We’re a nonprofit organization and our hopes are that you’ll be inspired and moved by the film, our mission, vision, and our commitment to helping people in the local community.
